Thanks for posting that...sometimes we need to stop and remember the love we have for our partner and all that grand stuff that goes with it.

I didn't put this in my post but these words come from I Cor. 13, the Living Bible (modern) translation. They really spoke to me so I wanted to highlight them here. Glad you liked it too.

Hi Jelly,
I know I posted this on Valentine's Day which is associated with romantic love, but I think these words apply to love in ALL the relationships we have. Having a child has certainly taught me a lot about patience and hope. Being a daughter-in-law to an aging mother-in-law taught me about not demanding my own way and occasionally even the enduring through every circumstance love.
Love isn't as much about feelings as it's about hanging in there and doing right by the people we love.
