Flowers for Friday: Orange You Glad It's Friday!

Orange tulips in bloom.

Daffodil with an orange center.

View of one section of our flower beds.
There's a creek behind the trees in the upper right.

First look at the hostas which frame our stone walkway.

Very lovely. I think the usual name for the orange centred one is narcissus. Though of course a daffodil is a narcissus....

Thanks for posting, I'll get some flowers soon!

The two middle shots really speak to me. And I so enjoyed the tale of your learning to hear again. Thanks for such an interesting story. And for visiting my blog last week, too!

Hi Mog,
I didn't know that a daffodil is a narcissus. I have heard daffodils called jonquils.
Looking forward to seeing your pictures!

Thank you, Sara Chapman. I find the photos on your blog very inspiring. Mine are taken with a cellphone for now. I'd love to get a digital camera.
