According to her website, it's possible that she will be featured in the second episode on September 28. She will appear for sure on episodes airing October 5, 12, and 19th. Mark your calendars.

Hi Deb Ann,
I watched the first season and part of the second with my husband. I'm not up-to-date with the story so I'll have to catch up a bit. I had lost interest but now with a deaf character appearing, I want to see it.
I heard about this from a friend so I'll pass your comment on to him.
All the best,

I watched the first episode and it was a little too intense for me with a girl jumping out a window and pushing her broken ribs back into her body, a cop who sees a scary villain who is invisible to everyone else, and an attacker with knives. Luckily I had drinken a cup of calming chamomile tea before watching. I enjoyed seeing Hiro, Ando, Peter, and Noah again and trying to figure out what's happening with their storylines. I'm just not sure I have the chops to keep watching this season even though I want to see Deanne Braye's performance.

I'll look out for it. I'm always cynical about these TV outings of Deaf people. I would like to see some deaf and hard of hearing people in programmes. Some people who struggle with lipreading, who get left out and misunderstood.Or is reality too much to ask for? I'm rather sick of the notion of brave little soldiers battling on.

I've seen the couple episodes with her in it. She is just discovering her power, which is to "see" some sound as colorful waves of light. She actually begins to play a cello by sight (aks - creating the most beautiful lights). Last night, in a moment of agitation, she uses the cello to make bigger and bigger waves of lights and then eventually accidentally makes a big crack in her wall - having used the color/sound waves as an attack. Neat. She seems to have the potential to be an ongoing character - it's hard to imagine her last episode will be next week, as that's too soon to wrap up her story arc. (I will say that most episodes aren't quite as graphic as the one you saw.)
